Once upon a time, there was a girl and a boy. They tried their best to let others live in peace and make this world a better place to live in.
They followed all traffic rules, tied seatbelts and wore helmets. They utilized bicycles, public transportation, walked down for shorter distances and turned off vehicle engines at traffic signals. They threw all the trash in dustbins only, tried to reuse every material in the best possible way. They tried to avoid the use of plastic bags and used cloth bags instead for shopping. They switched off lights and fans when not in use, did not waste water and food, also did not pollute the natural resources. They planted trees and even did not burst crackers on festivals and events. They printed on papers only when needed and used both sides of the paper. They took the stairs instead of elevators and turned off taps when not in use. They used plantable papers as gifts, the biodegradable paper that would decompost and leave behind flowers or vegetables.
Apart from this, they gave respect to elders and girls, helped people fight depression. They also did not indulge themselves in activities related to corruption, molestation and casteism.
One day the boy asked the girl, “Why do we do these deeds if others don’t?” The girl uttered, “It is because, if we do it, then only others and our descendants will!” The boy nodded to agree and they lived happily ever after.
